About Counselling and Counselling
I offer psychotherapy and counselling individually and also with couples. I work in Stroud, Gloucestershire. I also offer Online Skype and telephone counselling.
Each of us is a totally unique being and so therefore we experience life from a unique perspective. At various moments we may feel that we are struggling to understand and cope with life and at these times therapy can be a space where we can bring those parts of ourselves that we may be ashamed to share with family or friends into awareness. These feelings of anxiety either of something that is currently bothering us or just a generalised feeling of anxiety can inhibit us from just getting on with our lives.
I have worked with young people who are struggling with joining the adult world, new mothers and fathers, those going through a mid-life crisis, those struggling in relationships, addictions to alcohol, drugs, and eating disorders. Also those suffering from a serious illness, and issues around aging, death and dying.
As a qualified psychotherapist I am fully insured, an Accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), undergo regular Supervision and undertake CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
